special events
From time to time the band plays at nominal or no fee for charitable organisations and occasionally we also have to raise funds for ourselves in years when paying events are limited through cost or regulatory hurdles - there is no profit in it for band members but by helping us to carry on we can do more for other people. Please contact us if you would like join the list of charities we support when we can.
Once a year we select a charity to play for with no fee. The charity we have chosen for 2018 is Naomi House.
BAND EVENTS
A Band Burns Night is regularly held in late January/early February to raise funds for band equipment and to help offset the costs of performing for other charities at notional or no cost to them. Details will be published in advance.
